UBNJ Wildlife Conservation Scholarship
If you or an immediate family member is pursuing higher education in the field of Wildlife Conservation, you can win a $1000.00 scholarship to help pay the cost of tuition, books and supplies. This scholarship is aimed at promoting a positive impact on wildlife resources by fostering expertise and education of individuals entering the Wildlife Conservation field. The United Bowhunters of New Jersey are proud to establish the UBNJ Wildlife Conservation Scholarship Fund which will help enable this critical field to be sustained and promoted. There is no fee to apply and applications can be obtained on the UBNJ website. In addition to the application, an essay (details in the application) must be submitted along with a copy of your official transcript of grades or proof of enrollment. Eligibility Requirements:Must be an active UBNJ Member; or the Son, Daughter or Spouse of an active UBNJ Member. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 Grade Point Average and be pursuing a College Degree in the field of Wildlife Conservation. Recipients are selected without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, handicap, or national origin. Current Grade Transcript:
Is defined as any unaltered document issued by the school that has the following four pieces of information:1. Your name2. Your School’s name3. GPA for most recent quarter/semester4. Quarter/semester that the GPA is valid Proof of Enrollment:Is defined as any unaltered document issued by the school that has the following four pieces of information:1. Your name2. Your School’s name3. Quarter/Semester that you are enrolled4. Number of units/credits that you are enrolled in Award Collection: The UBNJ Wildlife Conservation Scholarship Award will be in check form made payable in one installment. The Scholarship check will be made co-payable to both the award recipient and your school. The check must be deposited through your school’s financial aid office. To claim your award you must sign the Scholarship Award Agreement, provide a copy of current grade transcript and provide proof of enrollment.
