United Bowhunters of New Jersey Accepting Scholarship Applications.

Trenton, NJ — January 25, 2012 — Today the UBNJ announced that it will be accepting applications for its Wildlife Conservation Scholarship beginning February 1, 2012.

The United Bowhunters of New Jersey will be accepting applications for its Wildlife Conservation Scholarship from February 1, 2012 through June 30, 2012. The UBNJ will be awarding one scholarship in the amount of $1000.00 from its Wildlife Conservation Scholarship Fund. This scholarship may be used to help off-set the cost of tuition, books, and supplies.  The scholarship is open to active UBNJ Members and their immediate family who are pursuing a degree in the Wildlife Conservation field.  The scholarship will be awarded on or before August 30, 2012.

The UBNJ Wildlife Conservation Scholarship application and all application requirements can be found at www.ubnj.org under the heading “Community Services and Education”.  Applications may be submitted either electronically or through the US mail.

The United Bowhunters of New Jersey was incorporated in 1974 as a New Jersey Non-Profit Corporation.  The UBNJ actively participates in many conservation programs throughout the State of New Jersey and is the voice for over 35,000 licensed bowhunters in the Garden State. The UBNJ is an organizational member of the NJ Federation of Sportsman’s Clubs, the NJ Outdoor Alliance, the North American Bowhunting Coalition, and is a stakeholder in New Jersey’s Hunters Helping the Hungry Program.
