Welcome everyone to the web version of "The Healthy Hunter" (HH). Our newsletter will contain a different version of the HH, so keep an eye out in each issue. My name is Michael Buron Sr., and I am currently serving the UBNJ as an Ocean County Rep. The HH will attempt to provide you with helpful health and lifestyle tips through education and awareness. We will have updated posts discussing general health issues, as it pertains to our sport of bowhunting, as well as trying to answer specific questions generated from you, the UBNJ membership, and anyone else who visits our website.
I will provide a brief overview of my qualifications here, with more detailed descriptions following. This is to guide you into understanding what kind of questions I will be able properly field, and in what direction we can take the HH. To ask a question or suggest a topic of interest to be written about, please provide your first name, the county you reside in, your email address, and of course, your question.

For the purpose of the HH, we can cover: corrective exercise, postural analysis, physiological load assessment, exercise selection and modification for common imbalances in the body, movement assessments, cardio training, Golf Performance, nutrition, food selection, weight management, specific nutrition and training of women, and functional lab work for adrenal, gut, and neurotransmitter function.
So if you have an issue pulling your bow back, getting up a tree, pulling a deer out of the woods, or just plain back pain, let's talk about it. Even if you want to bring up how you don't have the energy to do what you used to do. Why is your mood changing? Why can't I lose weight and keep it off? Almost any health issue will affect you in the field and in life. Just think, your question could help hundreds of people reading, so ask away! Thank you, and I hope to hear from you soon!
